Eric Germaine Grace, son of Lovely Rochelle Grace was born on July 14th, 1972 in Brooklyn New York. He attended New York City Public Schools and attended Washington Irving High School in Manhattan. Early on, Eric had an entrepreneurial spirit and began his own courier company - Catch That Courier in his early twenty's. Since then, Eric began many business ventures and partnerships. He was a mentor to many others looking to start their own business.

Eric Germaine Grace, son of Lovely Rochelle Grace was born on July 14th, 1972 in Brooklyn New York. He attended New York City Public Schools and attended Washington Irving High School in Manhattan. Early on, Eric had an entrepreneurial spirit and began his own courier company - Catch That Courier in his early twenty's. Since then, Eric began many business ventures and partnerships. He was a mentor to many others looking to start their own business.
He was a fan of hip-hop culture and conscious rap that spoke of positive effects on communities. He enjoyed dressing in fashions that matched his personality and told a story. He had a passion for sneakers and was well versed in the history of hip hop culture.
Eric had a passion for learning and investigating information. He kept himself abreast of such things as technology, current events, history, automotive technology, real estate, finance and business.
In August of 1999 he was united in marriage to Yolanda Grace in Queens, New York. They moved to Atlanta Georgia in July of 2000, where they made a wonderful life until present.
Eric was happily united with his daughter Shantavia Kemp of New York in 2010. They quickly built a close and loving relationship. Shantavia relocated to Atlanta to continue to cultivate their relationship. She plans to continue her life in Atlanta Georgia.
Eric was a friend to everyone he met. He developed countless personal and professional relationships in New York and Atlanta. His life's calling was helping anyone that expressed a need. His generous spirit and pleasant personality was loved by many. Whether it was in his business or personal life, he was there to refer a resource or be of assistance himself. His influence will remain in the lives of all who knew him.
His beautiful life will be remembered through the life of his wife Yolanda Grace; Brother Anthony Grace; Daughter Shantavia Kemp; Nephews Xavier Grace, Aaron Grace, Sean Youree and Elijah Childers of Atlanta. Niece Brittany Grace of Brooklyn, NY; Aunts Gloria Pearson, Pearl Smith and Ella Mae Grace of Bennettsville, South Carolina as well as Aunt Ethel McPhaul of Philadelphia. Uncles Marvin McPhaul and Bernard McPhaul of Bennettsville, South Carolina. Cousins Derick Pearson, Cammie Pearson, Twila Jackson, Patrick Smith, Sandra Simpson, Marvin McPhaul Jr., Toccara Covington, Gregory Grace, Dwayne Grace, as well as James, Kenneth, Bernard and Samuel Pauling. Sisters-in-law Shameika Youree and Shatesha Rollins-McWhorter as well as a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from eleven o'clock in the morning until the time of service on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the funeral home.
